Established in 2001, the Asia-Pacific office is based in Melbourne, Australia. It was formed by hospitality professionals to service the Asia-Pacific region and international hotel industry. The office offers creative, specialist hospitality search and recruitment solutions to Asia-Pacific hospitality companies. We represent over 170,000 career hospitality industry professionals globally. 

Our services are Search, Recruitment Solutions and Management Advisory  all of which are centered on a end-to-end talent recruitment process with measurable ROI for clients. 

The office serves a range of blue-chip hospitality groups, reflecting the diversity  of both Melbourne and Australian marketplace. Most of Melbourne's client work is in senior appointments, operational roles, culinary search assignments and organisational consulting. Consultants support  their clients in all aspects of general management , with the significant assignments related to corporate development and recruitment  retention strategies. 

MG in Melbourne has been an active participant in the ambassador program, which sponsors exchanges of consultants among MG offices. Melbourne has welcomed industry trainees from Hong Kong, Sydney and leading hotel schools such as Lausanne in Switzerland. 

Our Melbourne office also supports the local and international hospitality community by lending a hand where we can. We also a member of Hotel and Catering International Management Association,Franchise Council of Australia,Recruiting Services Association, Global Hoteliers Club,Australian Institute of Management and have contributed with several lead articles and recent pro bono projects for several local educational institutions, Sporting Clubs, cultural clubs such as the Swiss club as well as the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce. 

Members of the Melbourne office family often find themselves doing volunteer work as a team as well as enjoying each other's company in a variety of social settings. Recent volunteer work has included efforts on behalf of Harlequin Rugby Club, coaching players and other non-for- profit organisations.
